Regional Executive – Captain Pete Sciabarra, USN (Retired)

Pete SciabarraCaptain Peter J. Sciabarra, USN retired from active duty in April 2008 following the successful completion of 27 years of honorable and dedicated naval service. During that time, Pete was awarded the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (4 awards) and Navy Commendation Medal (5 awards), as well as numerous other individual, campaign and unit awards. He has logged over 3,300 flight hours in military aircraft. He served as the Commanding Officer of HC-11, Air Boss onboard USS BOXER (LHD-4) and Executive Officer of USS PELELIU (LHA-5). In June 2008 he was named Director of Field Operations at Vistage International. In April 2009 he was promoted to Vice President of Field Operations at Vistage where he oversaw the programs, procedures and standardization requirements for 500+ US based Chairs and their membership base.

Pete assumed the role of Regional Executive of the Southwest Region in November 2016, encompassing Orange County, San Diego, Arizona and Hawaii.

Pete is a native of New York City where he attended Xavier High School in Manhattan. He is a member of the United States Naval Academy Class of 1981. He has a MS in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego and in August 2014 he earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Leadership Studies also at the University of San Diego. He is a lifetime member of the Naval Academy Alumni Association, a Board member of the Autism Society of San Diego and a member of the New York Athletic Club.
